Mary’s Peak Summit Hike Invitation to 50 Year Reunion participants
Saturday, July 15th 9 am - 2 pm (approximately)
Greetings to the Class of '73 from Dan Newton. If you would like to go on a very cool hike on Saturday morning, I am organizing and will be leading a hike up Mary's Peak on Saturday (July 15) morning. This is an option for those who enjoy walking through beautiful forests and seeing incredible vistas, and who are up to the rigors of this hike.
Hike overview:
• Distance: 6 miles
• Elevation gain/loss: 1540 feet
• Length of time: approx. 5 hours including driving time.
• Meeting time: 9:00 a.m.
• Carpool meeting place: Mary’s Peak True Value Hardware parking lot in Philomath
• Suggested items to bring: Day pack, water, snack, comfortable walking shoes
If you are interested in coming on this hike or have questions, please contact me so I can get a headcount prior to the hike.
I will send out a final itinerary once we get a headcount with names and contact information.
